DataSpace is managed by professionals from USA, Russia and Europe qualified in construction and the operation of best-in-class data centers, with solid knowledge of business operations in Russia and specific experience in electrical power and real estate procurement.




David Hamner - Founder, Chief Executive Officer

David founded DataSpace in early 2009, and serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors, with responsibilities related to strategic corporate development initiatives.  David served as CEO from the company’s formation in 2009 until 2014.  Prior to founding DataSpace, David was principal of DataSpace Advisors (DSA), a pioneer consultancy in the areas of data center strategy and development, risk management and operations.  His clients included leading data center operators and financial services institutions.  DSA managed the development of over twenty major data center projects and provided diligence and advisory consulting on major acquisitions. From 1999 to 2004, David was a senior officer at JPMorganChase, where he held global data center responsibilities, including the development of a global DC strategy and DC integration projects involving several mergers and acquisitions.




         Sergey Rasskazov - DataSpace President and General Director 

Sergey Rasskazov - President, General Director

Sergey Rasskazov was appointed as a President and General Director of DataSpace in 2014. Sergey held leadership roles in the leading international companies of IT industry. Prior to joining DataSpace Sergey was Managing Director of UNIFY (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications) for Russia and CIS countries. He also served as a Country Manager of Delta Electronics, Diebold and Director of HP Technology Services at Hewlett-Packard Russia. Sergey has a profound IT market knowledge and strong background in growing the business, strategic planning, sales and operations management. 

Alexander Volobuev - First Deputy General Director, Chief Operating Officer

Alexander joined Russia Partners in 2000 and until joining DataSpace in May of 2009, served as a Director of the Fund, based in the Moscow office. Since 2006, his focus was on the Moscow data center market, including RP’s holdings in Stack Group. At Russia Partners, Alexander’s responsibilities included investments in a wide array of industrial projects. Prior to joining Russia Partners, Alexander was an Executive Director for JV Focus, a subsidiary of Rosinter Group, from 1998 to 2000, where he was responsible for overseeing retail and satellite branch operations, and was General Manager for Autokran from 1997 to 1998. Prior to joining Autokran, Mr. Volobuev was the head of the Moscow Office of Thomesto Engineering from 1992 to 1997 and an Executive Sales Manager at Intourtrans from 1988 to 1992.


            Oleg Pismenski - DataSpace VP, Sales 


Oleg Pisminski - Vice President, Sales

Oleg has held management positions in global corporations with responsibility for double-digit dollar businesses in CIS countries. For almost ten years Oleg served as director of business development for datacenters with APC and later on for Schneider Electric. He played a notable role in facilitating the transformation of Russian entity from a rep office into a turnkey solution provider for large projects in the colocation datacenter market and vendor of choice for small and medium businesses. Oleg holds a degree in IT and gains his financial management experience with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. 



Ivan Kapustin - Chief Financial Officer

Ivan Kapustin joined DataSpace Partners as Chief Financial Officer in January of 2012.Prior to joining DataSpace, Ivan worked as the CFO of Enforta, an Internet-provider in more than 100 Russian cities. There he successfully secured a million credit facility from a leading international financial institution, as well as equity financing from two well-known private equity funds. Before joining Enforta Project, Ivan was the Head of the Corporate Department at Sky Link and , a leading alternative mobile provider, where he rolled out a company-wide budgeting and managerial system, and implemented a treasury control system to make subsidiary activities more transparent. Earlier, Ivan was Head of the Financial Reporting Department at Megafon-Moscow, one of the top three mobile operators in Russia. There he took the company through its first Big 4 audit, and implemented the SAP R3 enterprise resource planning system. Ivan began his career at KPMG, where he was a Senior Auditor from 2000-2003.



Denis Gvozdev - DataSpace VP, General Councell

Denis Gvozdev  - Vice President, General Counsel

Denis joined DataSpace Partners in 2012, and is responsible for provision of full legal support of the company’s day-to-day operations. His experience includes involvement in large-scale property development, construction and lending projects as well as advising on other property and construction related issues, coordinating due diligence work in connection with the acquisition and disposal of real property, reviewing construction contracts with regard to their compliance with Russian law, advising on property acquisition and transaction structuring, providing legal support in real property financing and refinancing projects. Before joining DataSpace, Denis worked for CMS, Russia – a major international law firm where, as a Senior associate, he focused on real estate issues. Denis is a Russian law qualified lawyer and holds an LL.M. degree (UK/Russia).



Owen Kemp  - Chairman of the DataSpace Advisory Board

Owen has recruited leading CIOs, academicians and business leaders to form an Advisory Board to guide and support the Company’s corporate development, and to advise its investors and Board of Directors.  Owen has held senior management positions with direct responsibility for several multi-billion dollar businesses in various countries and regions around the world. He holds extensive relationships with leaders of the Hi-Tech, Financial, and Government Industries and Segments. He has experience in all global markets, including emerging ones.
