Maksim Bystrov, Chairman of the Board at NP Market Council and JSC TSA has visited the data center of DataSpace
Moscow. February 17, 2017. Maksim Bystrov, Chairman of the Board at NP Market Council and JSC TSA has visited the data center of DataSpace where TSA has a data hall for the equipment and systems that support the wholesale electricity and power capacity market in Russia.
The delegation from the NP Market Council and JSC TSA also included Alexander Komissarov - Board Member and Deputy Chairman of the Board at JSC TSA, Ivan Selivahin - Advisor to Chairman of the Board at NP Market Council, Igor Ulyanchenko - Head of the Software and IT Department at JSC TSA, and Alexey Kromin - Head of the Internal Audit department at JSC TSA.
DataSpace was represented by Sergey Rasskazov - President and General Director, and Oleg Pismenski - Vice President, Sales.
JSC TSA has first started using the services of DataSpace data center in April 2015. The agreement between the companies enables JSC TSA to use up to 200 kW of power for its equipment.
The thing that sets JSC TSA apart from other companies is the total dependence of internal business processes on corresponding IT systems.
The digital transformation that is starting to touch more and more aspects of the company creates perfect environment for continuous development of information technologies that form the basis of the JSC TSA business. Performance requirements are constantly growing, while the timeframe for implementing amendments to the Wholesale Market Access Agreement (WMAA) is shrinking. Currenlty there is an argument to be made that JSC TSA is, in fact, an IT company that supports the continuous operation of the wholesale market using proprietary hardware and software solutions.
Reliability and robustness of its IT infrastructure is the backbone of the entire wholesale market in Russia. This high level of reliability can only be achieved by hosting the equipment in the data center with exceptional safety, security and reiability record. As a recipient of the Uptime Institute's Tier III Operational Sustainability certificate, DataSpace data center fully complies with the strictest requirements.
